New Travel Centres Take Shape

The new OnRoute travel centre in south Barrie that was mired in delays has begun taking shape as the steel shell is assembled. The Barrie OnRoute travel centre is expected to be opened by the autumn of 2013. In Innisfil, the existing Cookstown travel stop is expected to close in February to make way for construction of the new OnRoute centre there, although no construction schedule is announced yet.

An OnRoute centre opened earlier last year near King City on Highway 400.
